Toddlers practice their motor skills with both indoor and outdoor activities such as nature walks, crawling in and out of tents, boxes and tunnels or simply jumping, climbing and tumbling.
Little ones get to stretch their imaginations and develop creativity by painting with pine cones and bark or making pine-needle and leaf collages -- all while learning about sizes, shapes, colors and textures.
Curious kids get to learn by examining things -- identifying bugs and animals, learning about animal homes and studying plants.
Children will enjoy having picture books read to them, singing songs or even chanting and performing finger plays -- all of which build a basis for pre-reading skills.
Through dramatic play, toddlers get to practice things they hear and see to gain a better understanding of how they fit into the world.
